Transition Planning
Omega Security begins every job with Transition Planning. A successful startup is essential to building credibility and confidence for our clients, so we commit time and resources necessary to effect a smooth transition. To obtain this goal we assign a management transition team to develop a written timetable and measurable goals and objectives for transition activities. Transition programs include:
- Thorough review of your facility to determine your specific security needs
- Performance of your specific security and safety surveys of your site
- Development of a detailed security officer instruction and training manual (Post Orders)
- Selective officer recruiting and careful screening
- Classroom orientation and screening
- On-site training of officers and supervisors

Post Orders
To ensure continuity in security officer service delivery that meets your standards, Omega Security develops and maintains well-indexed, site-specific written instructions known as post orders for the officers on duty for each post on your site. These post orders are offered in manual or computerized formats and compile detailed instructions designed for quick reference in case of emergency. The post orders correspond with written tests to ensure continued officer training. Omega Security audits your post orders on a regular basis. Our standardized format enables us to easily update the instructions and incorporate special directions. Proper documentation of procedures is just one more way Omega Security maintains quality.
Support Services . . . Service Excellence
At Omega Security, support services such as scheduling, payroll and billing are not taken for granted as they are at other companies. Most companies that are dissatisfied with their security programs cite weak support services as the primary reason for problems. This leads to vacant posts, untrained and overworked officers, and payroll and billing oversights. In short, poor support services equal poor service.
Client service requirements change and officers are not always able to work an assigned shift, and operations must respond immediately and appropriately with no change in the performance of our service.
Omega Security has established systems and a standard of excellence for all support service areas. Custom-designed computer scheduling, payroll and billing systems are integrated to ensure reliability and timely payments. Invoices are methodically matched with work schedules, check-in logs and payroll to ensure accuracy. All this information is available to the Omega Security client at any time upon request.
Safety
Safety has always been a priority for Omega Security, and we have a track record to prove it. We've introduced a comprehensive safety program designed to prevent injury and illness on the job and have documented a significant reduction in the frequency of both accidents and health related incidents.
